New York: Viking Press, 1973
First edition. First printing. A sound, very good copy. Slight wear to the cloth. A previous owner’s bookplate to the front pastedown. Some foxing to the pastedowns and endpapers. The orange topstain a bit faded. A vertical crease on the half title page, extending with decreasing visibility to subsequent pages until pp. 30. A little mark to the fore-edge of the outer text block, but the contents fine. In a very good, unclipped dust jacket, with hardly any of the usual toning to the spine. Slight edgewear and a small closed tear at the top right corner of the front panel, with a discrete tape reinforcement at the verso. A very nice example in the bright dust jacket. Pynchon’s masterpiece, lauded as one of the greatest American novels.
