Together with a satin-finished 8 x 10 photograph of Watson in his lab, signed by him in felt tip and in fine condition. A candid first hand account of the monumental discovery of the structure of DNA, the “secret of life.” The book would become a benchmark for publicly accessible scientific writing, named as one of the best nonfiction books of the 20th Century by the Modern Library, and one of the “Books that Shaped America” by the Library of Congress.
